Who Founded the  McGill Method?

Dr. Stuart McGill, is the founder of the McGill Method, and is

considered the world's foremost expert in low back pain rehabilitation.

His 32 years of research and experimentation at the University of

Waterloo in Canada awarded him the prestigious “Order of Canada” in

2020 for his contributions to understanding the biomechanics of the

spinal column and to the development of rehabilitation programs for

low back disorders.

He is requested by medical doctors, chiropractors and clinicians in

allied health fields around the world to provide teaching engagements in an effort to improve clinical outcomes for patients suffering from low back disorders.

Many common approaches such as standard physio stretches and exercises, adjustments, massages, yoga, and pilates do not resolve the source of the pain behind the symptoms.

The McGill Method is a complex assessment and treatment approach used to identify the root cause of your back pain and/or sciatica.  We then train you to remove the cause and build your spine's resilience.
